This exhibition of works is from a new artists’ haggadah, Out of the Narrows, a collaboration of visual images and text from the group Jewish Artists Collective of Chicago. Each of the eleven artists contributed to the haggadah works that are meant to parallel the text, not illustrate it. Jewish Artist Collective of Chicago is a community of multidisciplinary artists connected through common heritage and committed to sharing ideas, enriching practices, and creating dialogue with community.
